FileMv is a file-sharing service built around one idea: upload a file, get a link, share it with anyone. The person you send the link to does not need an account, an app, or any setup — the link opens in any browser and the download starts from there.
What you can do without an account
You can send a file straight from the home page without registering:
- Upload one file of up to 100 MB per session.
- Get a short share link you can paste into chat, e-mail or anywhere else.
- The recipient downloads it without an account.

What a free account adds
Registering is free and unlocks the parts of FileMv that need a place to keep your things:
- Larger files — upload files of up to 5 GB each.
- Your Drive — a personal file manager with folders, where every upload is kept and organised.
- Share controls — protect a link with a password, set an expiry, or turn a link off at any time.
- Collections and portals — group files into collections and present them on your own public page.
- Trash with a safety net — deleted files can be restored for 30 days before they are removed for good.
Do my files expire?
No. Files you upload stay on FileMv until you delete them (or an administrator removes them for a policy violation). Share links are separate from the files behind them: a link can be given an expiry date or be turned off, and the file itself stays safely in your Drive.
What FileMv is not
FileMv is not a backup service and not a sync client — there is no desktop agent watching your folders. It is built for sharing: getting a file from you to someone else with the least possible friction.
